#636 Zorro, Male, Under One Year
Meet Zorro. A happy, friendly, and goofy pup we rescued from Tulsa Animal Welfare. He was found wandering on his own at an outdoor public event. The event was well attended and Zorro was unphased by all the commotion around him, sitting quietly with his new friends as people of all ages walked by.
Zorro is male, approximately 8 months old and 45 pounds as of June 1. He loves toys and to play with other dog friends, but a cat-free home would suit him best. Zorro is totally devoted to his humans, bonding very quickly to those who treat him nicely and give him loving attention. He knows sit, down and is working on shake. He will play fetch, but hasn’t mastered the art of the return quite yet. He is mostly house-trained and crate-training is a work in progress as he currently whines when inside it. He has only been with his foster home for a short time, but the foster reports the more comfortable he becomes, the more his puppy energy and antics are seen.
The ideal home for Zorro would have another playful medium/large size dog, no cats, and humans committed to providing positive training and making him part of their world. A retired or work at home adopter would be a bonus. In return, Zorro will provide unconditional love.
Zorro is being fostered in Tulsa, OK and limited transport help may be available within our adoption area of TX and OK. Check back for updates and additional pictures/videos.
