#793 Caillan, Male, 7 Years Old
I know that once you saw my stunning photos that you would want to read my story! I am Caillan and I am a 7 year old Border Collie.
How did such a handsome fellow like myself end up in a rescue, you ask? A nice lady was out completing her morning walk in a Dallas park area. She appeared to be a great walking partner, so I decided to join her. The nice lady was concerned why I was out by myself, so she placed flyers in the park, posted on Next Door, scanned me for a microchip, all in hope to locate my family. No one ever claimed me, so she reached out to BCRR, to help me find my forever home.
I have been with my foster Mom and the other fur babies for a year. On my first vet visit, we were told that I have heart worms. I am not sure what those are, but my foster Mom said that even though I have a big heart, these worms had to go! She said that they are icky, gross, and could make me very sick. The wonderful vet staff and Mom took great care of me during my heart worm treatments. I am now heart worm free and healthy!
I am a very laid back boy, who loves to hang out with the other doggies. My friends range from a Border Collie to a very spoiled Pomeranian. I get along with everyone! We love playing chase in the yard. Walks are my favorite activity and I ride well in the car.
I am crate trained and know “sit” and “stay”. My foster Mom says that I am a very smart boy who is eager to please. Oh, and I LOVE treats!
I do not like being left alone, so I would do best in a home with a sibling, or with someone who is home most of the day.
If you see that I would make a wonderful addition to your family, please submit your application to BCRR.
