Phoenix is ready to find her forever family! Phoenix is a border collie mix of about 4-5 years old and 35 pounds. She was living on her own, with a badly injured leg, outside of a small rural town. A nice woman had been gaining her trust by feeding her but Phoenix became very sick from the infection and was finally able to be caught! She was very lucky to make it because we would cross a busy highway everyday to look for food. She was very ill, covered in fleas and ticks, her leg was so infected it was killing her and she severely anemic. She made it through her surgery and after a few months of recovery and being treated for tick diseases, she’s ready for a home! She’s a very sweet dog and has been an amazing motherly figure to all of my foster puppies. She would do best in a home with puppy-like dogs that are easy going, playful, and passive! She has been around cats and seems to ignore them. She is very funny girl  and loves to play with other dogs. She has no issues getting around and can run faster than any other dog I have, climb stairs, and throw her toys up in the air to catch them. She is cautious of new men but then bonds strongly and loves with all her heart! She is very affectionate and LOVES to be held. Consider giving this dog the wonderful home and future she deserves! She’s a fighter

***must have a fenced in yard and vet check will be completed. She is current on shots, rabies, nexguard, heart worm negative and on heart worm meds, microchipped, and spayed. Adoption fee is $150***
